

Esther M. Bearley, 94, of Napoleon, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Henry County Hospital. She was born on August 13, 1920 to John H. and Mary M. (Behnfeldt) Homan in Wauseon. Esther was married to the late Donald Bearley who passed away on July 8, 2000.
Esther worked at Wauseon Wire Factory as a press operator for many years. She also worked at Shumacher’s Department Store in Napoleon.
In her pass time Esther loved to play Bingo and cards. She enjoyed Pepper and Euchre the most. When her husband was still alive you would find Donald and Esther working the roadside market together. They looked forward to spending their time together. She enjoyed being with her family. Her children and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Esther was a friend to all she will be missed by all that knew her.
Esther is survived by her children: William (Marcia) Bearley and Bonnie Bischoff. Grandchildren: Karen (Gary) Branham, Mark Bischoff and great-grandchild Grady Branham. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Ernest, Edwin and Ervin Homan and sisters: Martha Kruse, Hilda Gibbs and Laura Homan.
A private graveside service was held in honor of Esther on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Napoleon Ohio. Services were officiated by Pastor James Castello.
