Jerry Gallagher

Born November 10, 1933 in McComb, Ohio to Cecil and Mildred Gallagher, Jerry was married to Joanne Bowles, who preceded him in death on January 5, 1975. He was also preceded in death by a second wife, Violet Massey.

Jerry was a loving father and grandfather, and he will be missed. He went peacefully and is resting in the Lord. He has been reunited with his first love, our mother.

He is survived by three daughters, Linda Lang-Deluna of Dallas, Texas, Peggy Hennessey of Toledo, Ohio, and Leann Thompson of Hamilton, Ohio; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson. He is preceded in death by a brother, James Gallagher; sister, Melba Leatherman; and one grandson, Chad Allen Hennessey.

There will be a graveside service in memory of our dad and a celebration of our parents being reunited in death, both with our Lord and Savior. This will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Holgate, Ohio at 1pm on Friday, April 18, 2014. Donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society, or the Alzheimers Association. Arrangements entrusted to Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio.
