

Lois L. Wiechers, 87, of Napoleon, passed away at her home on Friday May 15, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 24, 1927 in Liberty Center, Ohio. She was united in marriage on March 9, 1947 to the late Larry Wiechers at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon.
Survived by her children Becky (Jim) Lorcher, John L. Wiechers, Mary Beth(Larry) Weaver, Loralee (Daryl) Jones, Ron (Jeannie) Wiechers, Ken (Karen) Wiechers, 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and brother Lowell Wetter.
Preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Ella Sworden, her husband of 65 years Larry Wiechers, great grandson, Eli Wiechers, and brother Royal Wetter.
Lois was a homebody whose greatest joy came from taking care of her family. She loved to garden, cook, crafts, reading and having family skits for birthdays and holidays. Lois was a history buff who traveled with her husband Larry learning about American history. She had a very creative mind and a witty sense of humor. Toward the end of her life her great grandbabies captured her attention and her heart, giving her many hours of love and happiness.
Visitation for Lois will be at Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home 830 N. Scott St. Napoleon, Ohio on Sunday May 17, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral Services in her honor will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Church 810 Scott St. Napoleon, Monday May 18, 2015, starting at 10:00 a.m. Pastor James Castello will officiate. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Napoleon Twp. The family request donations be made to Henry County Hospice or a Charity of the donors’ choice.
