Margaret E, Bowers

Born October 12, 1927 in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Merle (Fitzcharles) Weisz. On April 21, 1962 she married James B. Bowers and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2012.

Margaret was a retired Wauseon elementary school teacher. She was a graduate of Bowling Green State University. She was a member of the Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a devoted farm wife and loving mother of four children.

Surviving are two sons David (Betsy) Bowers, Stanton, Nebraska and John (Cara) Bowers, Napoleon, Ohio; two daughters Carol (Kirk) Chambers, Delta, Ohio and Ellen (Todd) Dean, Oak Ridge, North Carolina; one sister Marilyn Deily, Toledo, Ohio and 16 grandchildren.

Services will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2012, at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church, Liberty Center, Ohio at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Barry Baughman, officiating. Interment will be made in Glenwood Cemetery, Napoleon, Ohio.

Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio on Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church building fund or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
