Rodney Ray Tabor

Rodney Ray Tabor, 86, passed away on October 3, 2014 at St Vincent Hospital in Toledo. Rodney was born on July 7, 1928 to Charles and Clara (Spohn) Tabor. He married MaryLou Bruns on July 30, 1952 in Angola, Indiana.

Rodney was a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from General Motors where he worked in the foundry. He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Okolona, Ohio.

Rodney survived by his five daughters Vicki (David) Shook, Ann (Jim) Davis, Tina (Butch) Rohlf, Mara Tabor and Penny Gruzecki. His ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his grandsons Todd David Shook and Jerry Lee Davis.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 3pm to 8pm at Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home, 830 N. Scott St. Napoleon. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 30997 Gerken Rd. Defiance, Pastor Terry Courter, officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
