

.William H. Frakes, 78, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at The Orchards at Northcrest, in Napoleon, Ohio. He was born on March 15, 1936 to Clyde and Marie (Plotts) Frakes. A graduate of Liberty Center High School where he was active in F.F.A., William grew up on an area farm where he raised lambs. Always a hard worker, he worked at McGraw/Guardian Industries in Albion, Michigan and later worked at Campbell’s Soup and Elias Brothers. He was a proud member of A.A., and also belonged to the Moose Lodge in Napoleon and Albion, Michigan. Although he was a quiet man, he had a wicked sense of humor once you got to know him well. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
William is survived by his three daughters; Lori (Mike) Hollenbaugh, Penny (Mike) Conroy, and April (Tim) Hazlewood; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and his first wife, Sunny Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his second wife, Irene Guzman.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Noon on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at St. John Episcopal Church, 1400 Glenwood Ave., Napoleon, OH. Memorial donations are suggested to the church food pantry, or to Together We Make A Difference. Arrangements entrusted to Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio.
