

Fausto Emilio Rhor, age 88, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, in Miami.
Born on January 11, 1938, in Ecuador, Fausto lived a life defined by faith, devotion to family, and a deep appreciation for music and sport. A devout Catholic, he carried his beliefs with quiet strength and gratitude throughout his life. As an Army veteran, he demonstrated strength, courage, and unwavering character throughout his life. Yet beyond those qualities, he was a man with a remarkable sense of humor and natural charm, able to turn strangers into friends with ease. He truly embodied the saying, "A stranger is just a friend he hadn't met yet." He never met a person he couldn't strike up a conversation with, and his warmth left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He also loved sharing stories from his youth, bringing those memories to life with vivid detail, laughter, and a spark that reflected his adventurous spirit.
Fausto shared 47 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Patricia Maria Rhor. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and enduring commitment. He also leaves behind his cherished son, Scott Emilio Rhor, whom he lovingly referred to as "My Masterpiece." This simple but profound expression reflected the immense pride, admiration, and unconditional love he felt for his son.
He is also survived by his siblings, Rafael, Cecilia, and Xavier, along with extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Fausto was a passionate soccer enthusiast who rarely missed an opportunity to enjoy the game he loved. Music was another great joy in his life. He especially enjoyed the timeless songs of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Andy Williams and many others, whose music provided the soundtrack to many treasured moments throughout the years.
Those who knew Fausto will remember his warmth, his unwavering faith, his love of family, and the pride he took in those closest to him. His legacy lives on through the values he instilled, the memories he created, and the love he shared so generously.
Though he is no longer with us, his spirit remains in the hearts of all who loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
