Myrian Del Socorro Crissien

Myrian Del Socorro Crissien Cabrera left to be with her heavenly Father and to reunite with her youngest son Carlos on February 7th, 2022. She will be dearly missed by her husband Jorge, her children Jorge Jr., Sandra, and Silvana as well as her grandchildren Myrian, Anna, Isaac, Danny, Isabella, Christopher, Gabriella, Anabella; her daughters’ in law Alba and Maryori, and her two brothers Danilo and Gustavo.

Myrian was born on December 15, 1949 in Barranquilla, Colombia where she met the love of her life Jorge. They were married and had four children. Myrian and Jorge soon after migrated to the United States to Miami, FL where they raised their four children and welcomed eight grandchildren throughout the years.

Her time on earth was marked with kindness and love for everyone she met. She served her family, friends, and community by always providing a helping hand, a listening ear and a willingness to go the extra mile to help those in need. She worked and volunteered for many years with various social services organizations including Good News Health Clinic, Catalyst Miami, Human Services Coalition of Miami, We Count and her home church Fraternidad de Fe to help those less fortunate and to fight human rights injustices of different kinds. She was well known throughout her community as “La Senora Myrian” and was well loved and respected by many. She displayed courage, tenacity, peacefulness, patience, love and kindness all the days of her life.

She was a warrior of many kinds. She fought injustice and inequality. She fought for her children and worked hard to make sure they had everything they needed even while giving up some of her own dreams. She fought against cancer as well as heart and kidney disease. She was a courageous warrior and throughout her battles always maintained her faith in God and a smile on her face. She will be remembered most for her beautiful smile, her unwavering faith and relentless courage.

Myrian Del Socorro Crissien Cabrera partió para estar con su Padre celestial y reunirse con su hijo menor Carlos el 7 de febrero de 2022. Sera eternamente extrañada por su esposo Jorge, sus hijos Jorge Jr., Sandra y Silvana, así como sus nietos Myrian, Anna, Isaac, Danny, Isabella, Christopher, Gabriella, Anabella; sus nueras Alba y Maryori, y sus dos hermanos Danilo y Gustavo.

Myrian nació el 15 de diciembre de 1949 en Barranquilla, Colombia donde conoció al amor de su vida Jorge. Se casaron y tuvieron cuatro hijos. Myrian y Jorge poco después emigraron a los Estados Unidos a Miami, FL, donde criaron a sus cuatro hijos y dieron la bienvenida a ocho nietos a lo largo de los años.

Su tiempo en la tierra estuvo marcado por la bondad y el amor por todos los que conoció. Sirvió a su familia, amigos y comunidad brindando siempre una mano amiga, un oído atento y la voluntad de hacer un esfuerzo adicional para ayudar a los necesitados. Trabajó y se ofreció como voluntaria durante muchos años con varias organizaciones de servicios sociales, incluidas Good News Health Clinic, Catalyst Miami, Human Services Coalition of Miami, We Count y su iglesia local Fraternidad de Fe para ayudar a los menos afortunados y luchar contra las injusticias de derechos humanos de diferentes tipos. Era bien conocida en toda su comunidad como “La Señora Myrian” y era muy querida y respetada por muchos. Mostró coraje, tenacidad, paz, paciencia, amor y bondad todos los días de su vida.

Ella era una guerrera de muchos tipos. Luchó contra la injusticia y la desigualdad. Luchó por sus hijos y trabajó duro para asegurarse de que tuvieran todo lo que necesitaban, incluso mientras renunciaba a algunos de sus propios sueños. Luchó contra el cáncer, así como contra las enfermedades cardíacas y renales. Era una guerrera valiente y durante sus batallas siempre mantuvo su fe en Dios y una sonrisa en su rostro. Será más recordada por su hermosa sonrisa, su fe inquebrantable y su valor implacable.
