Paul Douglas Kalv

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Paul Kalv, who passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15th at the age of 80 years old in Miami, FL. Born on January 6th, 1945, in St. Augustine, FL. Paul was the beloved son of George Paul Kalv and Frances Douglas Kalv. He is lovingly remembered by Julia, his amazing wife of 27 years, children Greg and Melanie; his stepchildren, Jessica, Michelle and Julian; as well as grandchildren Abigail, Jacob, Anna, Katelyn and step-grandchildren Jacob and Jax who brought him great joy.

Paul was known for his kindness, work ethic, sense of humor, dedication to his family and the positive impact he made throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed traveling, boating, fishing, playing the saxophone and spending time with family. Paul spent many years working as a Utility Director, where he touched many lives with his drive, compassion and commitment.

The viewing will be held on Friday, August 29th, at 5:00pm at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn Funeral Home in Naranja, FL. The mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 30th at Sacred Heart church in Homestead, FL. as well as the burial to follow at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn Funeral Home. Friends and family are welcome to attend and share memories.

Though Paul has departed from this life to be with our heavenly Father, his light continues to shine in the lives he touched. We will carry his love with us, always.
