Adelia Bellis, 87, of Nashua, passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Now reunited with her beloved husband Earl Bellis who passed away in June 2015. Born on May 26 1935 in Nashua, NH, she was the daughter of the late Rachel and Lucien Vigneault.
Adelia “Dee” was a lifelong resident of Nashua NH, attending area schools and attending Bryant College in RI. She was active in the Senior Center as a contract bridge instructor (Lifetime Master) and volunteer. She especially enjoyed the many field trips originating from the center as well. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the senior center and had a soft spot and appreciation for her neighbors on Ross Street. She also had a real knack for entrepreneurship, business and finances and loved to vacation, garden, play ‘words with friends’ and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and niece. Dee loved to cook and if you were really lucky she would share her recipe’s. She spent much time in her backyard enjoying her beautiful garden while feeding outdoor birds and wildlife; this was her special place. A few words that can best describe Dee; family, passion and energy, conversationalist, protective, loyal, independent, responsible, competitive (sometimes), and most of all unwavering and unconditional love for her entire family.
Adelia is survived by her four sons David and Nancy Bellis of NC, Michael and Dawn Bellis of FL, Steven and Linda Bellis of NC, Brian and Kareen Bellis of NC; grandchildren Lauren and Daniel Bell of HI, Meagan and Josh Kadel of NC, Rebecca and Adam Mattison of TN, Christopher and Christine Bellis of NC, Kristin and Nick Stevens of CT, Kaitlin Bellis of MA, Kevin Bellis of CT, Matthew Bellis of NC, Jenna Bellis of NC; great grandchildren Sean, Heath, Cole Kadel and Jasmine and Jordan Bell; step grandchildren Mike, Dan and Becky Ober of NH; great step grandchildren Hannah, Chris, Audrey and Vincent Ober; also by her loving niece Nancy, her husband Ken and son Cody Moreau of NH.
