

Anastasios J. Katsikas, 79, a longtime resident of Nashua, NH passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 24, 1936 in Lagadia, Greece, a son of the late James and Maria (Alexopoulos) Katsikas.
Mr. Katsikas can be remembered as a very sweet and soft spoken person. He graduated from Nashua High School and attended the University of NH. Mr. Katsikas worked for many years as a computer technician for Applicon in Burlington, MA as well as in other computer related jobs in the area. He was very devoted to his family, his daughter and his granddaughters. He was a member of St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church in Nashua. Mr. Katsikas enjoyed going for walks, had interest in cars and was a history buff. He enjoyed the time he had earned with his retirement. He was loved by his family and everyone that met him.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years; Christina J. (Nassikas) Katsikas of Nashua, his daughter; Maria C. Fisher and her husband Shawn of Nashua, two granddaughters; Bryanna Pelletier and Taylor Fisher, both of Nashua and also by his two brothers; Constantinos J. Katsikas and Nicholas J. Katsikas, both of Arlington, TX.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11:00am in St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 W. Hollis St., Nashua. Interment with military honors will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley St., Nashua.
