Annie B. Dichard 89, of Nashua passed away on February 2, 2011 at Langdon Place in Nashua after a brief illness. She was born in Nashua on December 13, 1921 and was a lifelong resident of the Gate City. She was educated in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School. Annie was employed as an instrument assembler for Sprague Electric and Kollsman Instruments of Merrimack.
Following retirement, Annie spent winters in Florida and summers working in the golf shop at Waumbek Golf Course in Jefferson, NH where her son Robert was the golf professional.
Members of her family include her husband of 66 years Maurice Dichard of Nashua, her two sons Maurice Dichard and his wife Virginia of Dover and Richard Dichard and his wife Margaret of Nashua, five grandchildren Christopher Stark, Jay Dichard, Richard Dichard, David Dichard, and Troy Dichard, five great-grandchildren Katie and Christopher Stark, Zachary and Megan Dichard and William Dichard. She was pre-deceased by her son Robert Dichard and by her brother John Wirbal.
There are no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in Annie’s name to the Nashua Police Relief Association PO Box 3011 Nashua, NH 03061. The Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
