Please know that I think about you every single day. You've touched people's lives in a way that only you could have. Almost a year has gone by since you passed away but it feels like it all happened yesterday. I love and miss you terribly.

It has been 3 months now, and still I do not quite believe it. I am so sorry I failed to take better care of you.

Whenever I miss you too much, I wear one of your rings on my ring finger because it's the only finger with a vein that connects to the heart. I love you so much. <3

I haven't been able to put much into words lately. Life continues to teach me that it is always fair and that bad things happen to amazing people. You are and always will be the strongest person that I know. I will keep fighting just like you taught me. You were not only the best mother but my best friend. I will miss you forever. I love you, mom. Rest peacefully.

Bob, Chris, and Darci - I have been away and just read in the Telegraph about Barbara. I am so sorry for your loss and that I was not here to go to the calling hours. We had so many good times with Scouts and baseball. You are all in my thoughts.

To Barbara's Family,
I was lucky enough to have met Barbara when she was working with Preschoolers at New Searles School. The children benefitted from her compassion and genuine interest in their lives. I happily joined in on her sense of humor, stories of our families, and our iced coffee breaks! She always had a smile to share, a hand to lend, and a willingness to enjoy day to day life. I am lucky to have known her, and offer my heartfelt condolences to her family that she loved sp much!

Dear Jenkins Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I went to school with Barbara at St. Joseph's and Mount Saint Mary. We spent 12 years together and I grew up right around the corner from her on Forest Park Drive. I have many happy memories of our school years together. Although we lost touch after high school we did run into each other time a few times. She always had that special laugh and smile. She will be greatly missed. Wishing you peace.
