Our deepest condolences. Bas was a charismatic, caring, and fun-loving person. He was also generous and took time to mentor young lives. I have so many fond memories of him from when I was growing up, including his coaching hat, volunteering at festivals, and basketball tournaments. Our thoughts and prayers are with you...

We only met Basil that one time but he seemed like one of those people you like instantly. Bob and I were both sad to hear of his passing but there won’t be anymore pain . We are only a few miles away so feel free to ask if you need anything. Hugs, Beth and Bob

So Sorry to hear of Basil's passing. So many memories from church, basketball, HoJo's and Martha's. He had an infectious laugh that could bring a smile to everyone.

Basil was a life long friend, from serving in the altar with him at St. Nicholas to cooking lamb at the St Philip Festivals and dances. We always had a great time. The Stones The Who, The Beatles, Ronnie Wood, Iggy Pop. I could go on and on. We shared a love of music (and many other things) and I’ll always cherish those memories. My family loved you and we will miss you.

Rest In Peace Basil.

I know this is not an easy time, nor can any words describe your feeling of sorrow during this time. But please know that you're in our thoughts and prayers. May you be comforted in knowing that Basil is at peace and no longer suffering. And, he is at rest now and all the good memories of the times you shared with him will live on forever. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to all his family and friends
