

Bronca Boissonnault, 86, was a native Nashuan. Born June 5, 1927 of Polish immigrant parents, she was a loving and caring daughter of Charles and Helena (Jeremicz) Chaniewicz. She passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013 in Nashua.
Bronca graduated from Nashua High School with the class of 1945 and was the recipient of the Ayuda Prize. In 1947 she met and married her soul mate, Paul Joseph Boissonnault and they shared 54 years together. Her Paul died in 2001.
At age 16 she started working in the Billing Department of the Nashua Manufacturing Co. and was there for seven years then went to Ingersoll-Rand, Impco Division. After 33 years she retired as Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Sales.
An avid golfer she was a 45 year member of the Nashua Country Club. An exceptionally up-beat person, she loved to sing and was a 60 year member of Nashua community concerts and had a strong passion for ethnic music. She had fun playing her mandolin and keyboard.
Remembering Bronca, there was joy in her laughter, faith in her soul, and love in her heart. She is survived by a son, Charles J. Boissonnault, and his wife Susan of Las Vegas; her former daughter-in-law Elaine Roussel Skillins; and her three grandchildren, Aaron James Boissonnault, Marlaina Brancheau, and Jenna Boissonnault. Her four great grandsons are Connor, Coen, Nicolas and Andrew, as well as one great granddaughter; Norah, and due to be born in October of 2013, Phoebe. Her family gave her so much pleasure and she loved them dearly.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 10:00am in St. Louis De Gonzague Parish, 48 W. Hollis St., Nashua. Family and friends gathered directly at the church prior to the mass. Interment was private.
