Charmaine B. DiFonzo

On Saturday, May 11, 2013 Charmaine B. DiFonzo, 66, of Nashua, NH took her final peaceful breaths at the Catholic Medical Center, in Manchester, NH. Charmaine was a kind and loving soul, a great mom, caring daughter, loving sister, and faithful friend who gave willingly of herself and asked for nothing in return.

She was born on September 21, 1946 in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Doris (Russell) DiFonzo Labrie

Charmaine is survived by her daughter; Leahnora Chauvin of Nashua, NH, eight siblings; Doris DiFonzo of Nashua, NH, Peggy Campolongo and her husband Jim of Litchfield, NH, Salvatore DiFonzo of Tampa, FL, Mary McManus and her companion Darryl King of Clearwater, FL, Michelle Grieco DiFonzo of Derry, NH, Michael DiFonzo of Revere, MA, Diane DiFonzo of Nashua, NH and Anthony DiFonzo of N. Conway, NH. She is also survived by her ex-husband Ronald Chauvin, her father’s widow Ellen DiFonzo, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and by six dear friends; Donna Shanley, Gertie Crocker, Bobbie and Troy Nolan and Kay and Jeannie Valley. She was predeceased by her infant son; Ronald Chauvin, Jr., her brother; Robert DiFonzo, her sister; Rose Roussel, her sisters in law; Lisa DiFonzo and Pamela DiFonzo and her brother in law; Michael Grieco.

She will be missed and mourned by all who had the privilege of having her touch their lives.

Visiting hours were held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua. Cremation followed. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
