Born in Lowell, MA on May 31, 1942, Claudette attended St. Joseph’s Elementary and High School. After graduating, she started her career at AAA where she later retired in 1993. She was the beloved daughter of the late Homer “Clem” and Rita Brissette.
Claudette was the devoted wife of Paul Roy, whom she married on April 29, 2000. Together, they made their home in Hudson, NH, where they shared 26 joyful years filled with extensive traveling including a dozen cruises and many trips to Hawaii and Europe. They enjoyed seeing Broadway shows together, and loved spending time with their family and friends. She found great joy in cooking and baking for those she loved and was especially known among family for her beloved “black moons”.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Mousseau; her eldest son, Paul Mousseau; and her sister, Vivian Arnault.
Claudette leaves behind her loving children: John Mousseau and his wife Dana of Elgin, TX; Marc Mousseau and his wife Gail of Hudson, NH; and Alan Mousseau and his wife Christine of Gilford, NH; as well as her daughter-in-law, Lisa Toupin of Pelham, NH.
She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Scott Mousseau and his wife Laura of Dracut, MA; Kassandra Mousseau of Middleborough, MA; Zachary Mousseau of Bay Shore, NY; and Haillie Mousseau of Hudson, NH. She also leaves behind her great-grandchild, Rowan Aucoin of Middleborough, MA.
Claudette is also survived by her siblings: Charlene Moore and her husband James of Cedar Park, TX; Denise Cote and her husband Normand of Lowell, MA; and Michael Brissette and his wife Diane of Coventry, RI, along with many nieces and nephews.
Claudette will be remembered for her love of family, her warmth, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
