

Constance “Connie” Polychronopoulos, 77 of Nashua, NH passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Southern NH Medical Center, Nashua. She was born March 20, 1936 in Manchester, NH, a daughter of the late Norma "Nono" Rodney
Connie grew up in Somersworth, NH and graduated from Somersworth High School. She was married and the family settled in Nashua in 1962. Her life was devoted to family and church. Connie was active in Greek Orthodox Church as a Sunday School Teacher and in the AGAPE Society. She enjoyed helping and volunteering, from the St. Philip Annual Food Fest to teaching adults how to read, she was always there to help. She enjoyed music and dancing and later in life traveling, as she traveled to Italy, Greece and Israel. Her proudest achievements in her life were her children and her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons; Stan Polychronopoulos of Nashua, Stuart Polychronopoulos of Nashua and Chris Polychronopoulos and his wife Michelle of Windham, NH, six grandchildren, Kate, Emily, William II, Constantina Stacey, Timmy and Olivia Polychronopoulos. She is also survived by her former husband; William Polychronopoulos of Nashua, a daughter in law; Jacqueline Masseur of Nashua, daughter in law Karen Bulger of Nashua, brother; Errol Rodney of Barrington, NH and a sister; Donna Rodney of Maine. She was predeceased by a brother; William Rodney.
Visiting hours were held Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A funeral service was held at 11:00am on Friday in St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 W. Hollis St., Nashua. Interment followed in Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley St., Nashua. Memorials may be directed to St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 W. Hollis St., Nashua, NH 03062 in Connie’s memory.
