David was an avid reader. He remembered everything he read and he had a mind for numbers and statistics, especially sports statistics. Being an avid sports fan of Baseball and the Red Sox, those facts and numbers often came in handy during his conversations with friends. He had many sports championship banners hanging in his home. Above all, family was the most important thing to David. When David’s sister Patricia was speaking to her cousins Andy and Jane, she mentioned that David was loved by everyone who met him and Andy’s response was, “yes, who wouldn’t.”
He is survived by a brother; Paul M. Botticelli of Nashua, a sister; Patricia M. Mercier and her husband Dick of Pepperell, MA and by four nieces; Kristen and Nicole Mercier and Ashley and Regina Botticelli.
Following cremation visiting hours were held Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua.
