World Marathon Runner, Loving Daughter and Sister, Beloved Aunt and Best Friend you ever had, Karaoke Singer, Tenderheart, Animal Lover and Worthy Causes Champion. A life very well lived .It is with sadness that our loving sister has passed away far too soon. Her life motto was “Show up, be yourself, and make people laugh and feel loved.” Diane May Jette affectionately known as Pinky or Jette was born in Nashua NH on April 20, 1961 and passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on September 4 2018. Diane was the daughter of the late Norman Jette and Madeline Cartier Jette of Nashua NH. Her brothers and sister are Arthur Jette of Maine, Robert Jette of Merrimack NH, Linda (Elliott) Thomas of Tilton NH and Mark Jette of South Boston Mass. Diane had many nieces and nephews, Melissa Jette, Cameo Jette, Seth Jette, Janelle Jette Douglas, Jason Jette, Jarrod Jette, Amy Elliott Parker and Sarah Elliott Germain. Diane had a love for her cats including her late cat Zimba and new additions, Tigger and Coco, who are now being cared for by loving friends. Diane moved to Massachusetts after graduation from Nashua High School and Rivier College. She worked for Massachusetts Public Health Association after having a successful accounting practice herself, named Jetstream. Diane loved to sing and often wrote her own lyrics. Her karaoke parties called Jette Jing a Lings were legendary. If you attended one, you never forgot it. Diane attended hundreds of fundraisers for causes. She ran in marathons in Paris and Boston and New York to raise awareness for cancers, such as the one her mom, Madeline, passed away from. Diane was a devoted vegan and she loved to make Non Fail Fudge but it Failed Every Time using soymilk. She loved playing Scrabble and was an accomplished swimmer and bicyclist. She loved her wine and friends to share it with and most of all Diane loved chasing rainbows and posting selfies of them and friends. Diane loved going to Fenway, and Celtics or Bruins games with her dear brother Mark. She loved helping others who were hurting and the more down and out they were, the more she reached down to lift them up. On her 40th birthday party with a packed room, she sang her famous Eminem cover (I’m the real slim Jette) to rounds of applause. Never afraid to take the microphone, Diane made people smile and know the real meaning of simple happiness when she sang from her tender heart. She left us with countless memories even with her shortened life. Go in peace to God and our family, though we will miss you so dearly our loving and fun sister, aunt and dear friend, we will cherish your memories until we meet again. We invite you to celebrate her amazing life and memories with us on September 16, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm at Zis- Sweeney & St Laurent Funeral Home 26 Kinsley Street Nashua NH or www.dignitymemorial.com Diane’s wish was that in lieu of flowers, donations in her name be made to your favorite charity or to hers, Rosie’s Place. http://www.rosiesplace.org/give . This picture was taken on Dianes Birthday in 2016 at a exclusive all Vegan restaurant True Bistro in Somerville. Diane gave her phone to our waitress to take her picture.
She said Im as happy as Ive ever been. Im eating Vegan food that taste this great! My brothers eating Vegan food and not gagging! Im drinking most of this expensive tasty wine. My birthday is today 4/20! Most of all my Brother is payng for it and he hasnt punched me in my stomach. YET. Lol
She laughed then posed. ThEn went on to tell our whole life story, well a three minute version to a grinning waitress.
God I miss you my sister Diane my best friend. Glasses high and Pinky up.
Thank you to the well wishers. Means the world to us.

I had the pleasure of Meeting Diane some 27 or so years ago. I had met Her Brother Mark first and was introduced to Diane shortly after. I’ve enjoyed both their company on many occasions, Typically one of Marks 21 course dinners where you fell asleep In your chair and awoke only to another course....in multiples. After all the food Mark would try to serve some non fat homemade ice cream or cardboard tasting brownies Diane had no problem telling you how she felt and was always willing to lend advise. I always welcomed her advise on many complicated issues life thrown to me. She was a great friend. I’m sad to hear how bad things had ramped up so quickly to take her from us so soon. My deepest condolences to Mark and her entire family . May Diane R.I.P.

So sorry to hear about Jette's passing. We worked together at kor group, and I'll never forget that she had an audio clip of a rimshot that she would play after she made a joke. And of course, any baby she came across was affectionately called the "little onion ring". My thoughts are with her family & friends during this difficult time.
