Edward Alvin Sebek

Edward Alvin Sebek, 94, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, New Hampshire, on July 23, 2019 surrounded by his family. Edward was born in Ocker, Texas, on July 27, 1924, to the late Joe John and Frances (Kozlovsky) Sebek.
Edward was a 20-year army veteran serving as Master Sergeant in the Military Police and served during World War II. He received National Defense Service Medals for expert marksman and sharpshooter. After retiring from the army, he worked for the US Postal Service in Nashua, New Hampshire. Edward enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.
Edward was predeceased by his wife Gloria (Nadeau), who passed away May 21, 1971, and is survived by his sister Alice Barr and his four children: Dianne (Dennis) Hoyt, Desiree (Kevin) Boulia, Keith (Janice) Sebek and Valerie Sebek; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Tanya and Courtney; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private graveside service with military honors.
