
Elizabeth was born in Nashua on June 28, 1927, the daughter of the late Leo and Zaraue (Tomasian) Injian.
Elizabeth was educated in the Nashua school system, graduating from Nashua High School, Class of 1945. She worked alongside her parents, who owned and operated the former Lake Street Pharmacy. Elizabeth was a communicant of Church of the Good Shepherd in Nashua. She enjoyed traveling to Cape Cod each and every summer. She looked forward to her weekly get-togethers with the “Poker Girls”. She especially enjoyed her life-long connection with the “Birthday Girls”. Her greatest passion in life was her family. Elizabeth was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is predeceased by her husband Oscar Richard in 1990.
She is survived by a son, Douglas Richard and his wife Laura of Mashpee, MA; a daughter, Carol Coutoumas and her husband Richard of Nashua, NH; a sister, Leona Kevorkian of Wellesley, MA; four grandchildren, Richard and Cathryn Coutoumas and Christopher and Amelia Richard; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Per Elizabeth’s wishes there were no visiting hours. A funeral service was celebrated on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11 AM at Church of the Good Shepherd, 214 Main Street, Nashua, NH 03060. Burial followed at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua. The ZIS-SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 26 KINSLEY STREET, NASHUA, NH 03060 has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth’s name to the Church of the Good Shepherd at the address above.
