

He was born in Newton, MA on November 28, 1944; son of the late Anthony and Angelina (Dellicicchi) DeSimone.
Frank was educated in Newton, MA and graduated from Newton High School. He then went on to attend Newman Prep and Northeastern University. He earned an honorary award from Worcester Polytechnic Institute as a sponsor of Robotics. He was self employed as an entrepreneur. Frank was a member of the H.O.G. Motorcycle Club, the Nashua Fish & Game Association, the Model A-Ford Club of America, and one of the founders of the Italian-American Club. He enjoyed building and operating custom motorcycles and radio control cars, trucks, and boats. He loved spending time with his family, especially his dog Harley who will greatly miss him.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife; Donna DeSimone of Nashua, two sons; Frank DeSimone Jr. and his wife Cindy of Nashua, and Chris DeSimone and his wife Kala of Merrimack, NH, two daughters; Dawn Cameron and her husband Joel of Derry, NH and Tracey DeSimone of Litchfield, NH, eight grandchildren; Maggie, Emma and Grace Cameron, Jessica and Aleah of Litchfield, NH, and Hannah, Isabella and Joe DeSimone, a sister-in-law Alberta Lockhart and her husband David of Stoughton, MA a niece; Joliene Vips of Henniker, NH and a nephew; David Lockhart of Stoughton, MA.
Calling hours were held on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 2pm- 4pm & 7pm-9pm at the ZIS-SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 26 KINSLEY STREET, NASHUA, NH 03060. A Catholic Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Parish in Nashua, NH. Burial followed at St. Louis Cemetery in Nashua. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Frank’s name to the American Heart Association, New England Affiliate, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA. 01701.
