Gregory Gordon Lightfoot

Greg spent his early years in Jamaica Plain, MA. He attended schools in Boston before graduating from Jamaica Plain High School.

As a child, Greg enjoyed spending his summers on the Weaver Family Farm in Owen Sound, Ontario. He made life long memories with his family, including his cousins Don Weaver and Marlene Taylor.

Greg was the son of Gordon and Bernice Lightfoot (Bea). He was married to his wife Anne Lightfoot for 42 years. Together they raised their daughter, Jenna Lightfoot along with their beloved dog Iris. Greg also leaves behind his two brothers, Alan and Kevin Lightfoot. Along with many other family and friends who will miss him dearly

Greg was a kind, hardworking man who loved his family deeply. He enjoyed spending time on the beach in Maine and hanging out at home by the fire. He also liked watching the Patriots, Sox and Bruins.

A celebration of life honoring Greg Lightfoot will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11am at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA. Though Greg is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
