James W. Iovino (age 85) of Bartlett, NH passed from this life on January 20,2025 into his preparation for his next incarnation surrounded by his family. He is survived by his children Sara and Craig; his brother Robert; and his three grandchildren, Jimmy, Katie and Anthony. James deeply enjoyed parenting and Grand parenting.
James was able to realize his life’s passions- to learn about and practice being a loving soul, to work in service of others, and to work for world peace. James enjoyed traveling and especially hearing people’s life stories.
James graduated from Kalamazoo College in 1961. He attended Andover-Newton Theological School for 2 ½ years before completing a Masters Degree (1978) and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (1973) in Counselor Education at the University of NH. He worked as a minister, school counselor, and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in private practice.
The time has passed to “pay respects”, so there will be a Celebration of Life held where we can share our stories of his life as well as sing, dance and meditate on his passing into preparation for his next life. The date is yet to be determined but his family will reach out with details at a later date.
