

Janette U. (Haraden) Macina, 73, of Milford, NH formerly of Nashua, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Crestwood Care and Rehabilitation Center in Milford. She was born in Portland, ME on October 21, 1938, the daughter of the late Marshall and Ursula (Marr) Haraden.
Janette grew up in Winthrop, MA, graduating from Winthrop High School. She then continued her education taking several business courses in the Boston area. She was employed for many years at Indian Head Bank in Nashua until her retirement. Janette was President of the Southern NH Youth Hockey Association in 1970, she enjoyed sports, reading, knitting, traveling and loved good conversation.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Edmund Macina in 1996; a brother, Marshall Haraden and a sister, Shelia Margotta.
She is survived by two sons, Edward M. Macina of Herndon, VA and Michael D. Macina of Nottingham, NH; a daughter, Ellan M. Kearney of Keene; a brother, Barry Haraden and his wife Joan of Hull MA; a son-in-law, Tim Kearney of Greenville, NH; three grandchildren, Nicholas and Alasandra Macina of Mexico City and Kaleb N. Kearney of Greenville, NH.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 1 PM to 4 PM at ZIS-SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 26 KINSLEY STREET, NASHUA, NH 03060. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 9:30 AM at St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St. in Nashua. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Hudson, NH.
