Joan M. Esposito Tousignant

Joan M. (Esposito) Tousignant, 64 of Nashua, NH and Quebec, Canada passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at CSSS de I’Energie in Quebec. She was born April 21, 1950 in Nashua, daughter of the late Carmen T. And Olivette B. (Vanasse) Espoito.

Mrs. Tousignant played basketball during her school years. She worked for many years as a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, often assisting the doctors during surgery. She married Jacques R. Tousignant May 13, 1977 in Nashua. Mrs. Tousignant was a wonderful woman who loved life and enjoyed making flower arrangements.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years; Jacques R. Tousignant of Nashua and Quebec, a sister; Diane Shober of Hooksett, NH, two nieces, Julie and Jacqueline, cousins; Robert and Michael Vannasse, three brothers in law; Louis, Norman and Regent Tousignant, three sisters in law; Nicole, Claire and Christine and is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; Michael and David Esposito.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, October 27, 2014 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am Tuesday in St. Louis de Gonzague Cemetery, Nashua.
