Joan Malone

Joan grew up in Limestone, Maine and attended the Limestone Public Schools. After high school, she attended LaSalle University and graduated with a degree in accounting. In 1973, she married her husband Thomas H. Malone and helped run Malone’s Oil Service, until his passing 1976. After Malone’s Oil Service, she went on to work for Nashua Foundries for 20 years until her retirement. Joan was a member of the Secular Francisca Order of St. Francis and of St. Mary’s Fraternity. She was a parishioner of St. Kathryn Parish in Hudson, and had served as Eucharistic Minister of the Eucharist.

She is survived by her sister Linda Lucaritti of MA; brothers Ronald Duprey of ME, Norman Duprey of ME; Niece Roberta Sullivan of Hudson; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband Thomas H. Malone; sisters Angeline Potzner and Dorothy Potzner; brothers Gilbert Duprey and Eldrick Duprey.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22 between 3pm and 7pm at Zis-Sweeney & St. Laurent Funeral Home located at 26 Kinsley St, Nashua. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 23 at 10am at St. Kathryn Parish located at 4 Dracut Rd, Hudson NH. Burial to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery located at 102 Derry Rd, Hudson NH.
