Julia was a graduate of Nashua High School. An avid reader, her love for the written word rendered her a career as a librarian at the Nashua Public Library for over thirty years. She was a parishioner of St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church and a member of its women’s auxiliary Ladies Society Agape. For many years, she served as the organist at the former St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Nashua. Julia took pride in maintaining the family home, handcrafted by her father and embellished with a backyard that rendered the feeling of being in his homeland of Cyprus.
In addition to her parents, Julia was predeceased by her brothers, Achilles (Archie) Pappas and George Papadopoulos; her sister, Presbytera Athena (Ethel) Ksethias; and her nephew, John Ksethias. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lillian (Bikos) Papadopoulos, Nashua; her nephews, Michael Papadopoulos, Nashua, and Daniel Papadopoulos, Mooresville, NC; her nieces, Christofily Papadopoulos Barker and Raina Papadopoulos Metivier, both of Nashua, and Christine Ksethias of Fla; her godson, Shaun Kelly of Fla.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
