Kathryn "Kassy" V. (Winn) Holbrook

Kathryn “Kassy” V. (Winn) Holbrook, 80, of Nashua, NH passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Courville at Nashua Nursing Home, Nashua with her family at her side. She was born September 7, 1934 in Nashua, a daughter of the late Thomas D. and Kathryn (Wilcox) Winn.

Mrs. Holbrook was very close to her entire family. She was a majorette for the VFW and was very proud of her Irish Catholic Heritage. Mrs. Holbrook worked as an office manager for First National, Nashua Corp and for McLaughlin Corp. She loved to entertain and have many “get togethers” for family and friends. She was a sports mom, driving anywhere for anything sports related for her two boys. She was an avid Red Sox fan, a great friend and the best mom you could ever have. Let’s Go Pats.

She is survived by two sons; Todd Holbrook and his wife Paula of Nashua, Michael Holbrook and his wife Paula of Manchester, NH, two grandsons; Travis and Colin Holbrook, two sisters; Theresa Moraros of Nashua and Anne Winn of Nashua and also by several special nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her infant daughter; Sharon Holbrook, her twin brother; Thomas Winn, two sisters; Susan Morin and Alice Labrie and by her longtime companion; Bennie Campbell.

A Liturgy of the Word service was celebrated Friday, January 30, 2015 at 9:30am in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua. Burial followed in St. Patrick Cemetery, Hudson, NH. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Nashua Cal Ripken Baseball, 4 Essex Street, Nashua, New Hampshire
