

Lorraine O. Drouin, 90 of Nashua, NH passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. She was born April 6, 1923 in St. Johnsbury, VT, a daughter of the late Ernest and Isabel (Morency) Racicot. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred A. Drouin in 1986 and her brother; Paul Racicot.
Mrs. Drouin lived in Nashua as a child, moved to Lawrence, MA and then returned to Nashua in 1956. She worked at the Nashua Public Library for 25 years. Upon her retirement she worked in the lunch room at Infant Jesus School, Nashua.
She enjoyed being at home with family especially when she was cooking large meals for everyone. Her favorite past-time was going to her grandchildren's sports games and activities. Her faith was also very important to her and she took great comfort in praying the Rosary.
She is survived by five children; Kathleen Marich and her husband Chuck of Nashua, Kevin Drouin and his wife Carol of Nashua, Patricia Maneely of Sunapee, NH, Ron Drouin and his wife Sue of Oregon and Ken Drouin and his wife Robin of New York. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Christopher Marich and his wife Meg, Andrew Marich, Jenna Drouin and her fiancé Andrew Richardson, Matthew Drouin, Ann-Marie Navez, Erin and Brian Maneely and Megan King, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visiting hours were held Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 4-7pm in the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 9:30am Monday in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua with interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W. Hollis St., Nashua. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054.
