Lucien G. Bergeron, 88, of Nashua, NH, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Lucien was born in Nashua, NH on May 6, 1933 to the late Anthony and Irene (Trudel) Bergeron. Lucien proudly served in the United States Navy, United States Air Force Reserves, the Army National Guard, and worked for the United States Department of Defense until retirement. After retirement, he honorably served as an elected Representative to the New Hampshire House of Representatives.
Family meant everything to him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Mary L. (Foley) Bergeron, and his children: Karen (John) McManus, Constance (William) Burke, Jeanne (Stephen) Batchelder, Andrea (Patrick) Connors, Anthony (Kim) Bergeron, Mary (Ralph) Nevells, Timothy S. Bergeron, and Lisa A. Bergeron (Rich Hogan). He will be forever missed by his loving grandchildren: Michael (Tanya) McManus, Megan McManus Hovey, Mark McManus (Elise Foerster), Fallon Burke, Brenna Burke, David (Stephanie) Batchelder, Andrew Batchelder (Hayley Youngstrom) , Erica Connors, Jessica Holmes, Graham Bergeron (Cameron Holmes), Christopher Bergeron, Rebecca Little (Travis Cole), Mikalah Little (Nick Reynolds), Leigh Nevells, Ian (Annie) Nevells, Nathan (Kristy) Nevells, Madelyne Bergeron (John Olson), Timothy J. Bergeron, Tyler Smith (Taylor Beck), Trevor Smith, and Sean Smith. He was blessed with great-grandchildren: Savannah McManus, Charlotte McManus, Emma Hovey, Hope Hovey, Corynne Roy, Spencer Bergeron, Lincoln Cole, Cadence Cole, Jaxon Nevells, and Bradley Nevells. His love also extended to all of his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends.
Lucien was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Irene Bergeron, his sister Constance Bergeron, his brother Hercule Bergeron, his son Gerald Bergeron, his daughter-in-law Lisa M. Bergeron and great-grandson, Noah McManus.
We already miss you, Dad, and will miss you forever.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:15am on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 9:15 am at St. Patrick’s Church located at 29 Spring St., Nashua, NH.
