Madison, or Miss Maddie, as those of us who adored her would call her, was so much more than a badass cancer warrior. She was joy with a freckled face. She was sassy and fierce for those she loved. She was an avid reader, raven lover, proud Disney adult, amateur photographer, animal lover, biker babe, 3D printer artist, and so many other amazing things. The best titles she wore, though, were friend, daughter, sister, mother, and wife.
Miss Maddie leaves behind her adoring husband (who she started dating at age 14), Brandon “Zaddy” Walker and 10-year-old daughter, Elena, of Concord; her mother, Lisa Tessier of Concord; her big sister, Patricia Huntley and her two children of Concord; her in-laws, Shelley and Gordo Dains of Concord; her father, Jon Chodakowski and big brother, Christopher Chodakowski of Maine; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kayla and Gavin Ray and their two children of Concord; and so many more friends and family who will miss her smile.
Services will be kept private, with a memorial gathering to be held by the family at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating time or money to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute or the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord. Both of these places made it possible for Madison to have the most days possible with her loved ones, and we are eternally grateful for their care.
