Maryellen M Foley

Maryellen Marie Foley of Nashua, NH passed away at age 56 from a cardiac arrest on March 3, 2023. She was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on October 30, 1966. She then moved to northern Vermont. She went to Sacred Heart High School and attended Johnson College for art.

Maryellen was the director of the Johnson after-school program. Later, she worked at her brother’s restaurant, 158 Main restaurant, as a dining room manager. She moved down to Nashua, NH where she lived with her fiance, Kevin Thellen. His son, Timothy Thellen, and his daughter, Sara Thellen were very close with Maryellen.

In Nashua, she was a paraeducator with Project Achievement at Broad Street Elementary School for two years. She then worked as the 21st Century Site Coordinator at Amherst Street Elementary School. Maryellen enjoyed her job and loved working with her students. She liked going to concerts, creating art, spending time with family and friends, gardening, bird-watching, and cooking. We will all miss her beautiful smile and caring heart.

Maryellen leaves behind her three sons, Roy Phillips, Brendon Foley, and Trevor Foley. She had five grandchildren, George, Claire, Jillian, Loralei, and Emric. Maryellen left four brothers and one sister, Jack, Greg, Steven, Michael, and Jennifer. Predeceased family includes her parents, John and Jean Foley, and two sisters, Sharon and Laura.

A celebration of life for Maryellen will be held Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Zis-Sweeney & St.Laurent Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH 03060.
