Peter Spiro Dedousis died unexpectedly in Sanford Maine from a cardiac arrest, on Friday January 26, 2018. He was 64. Peter was born on September 20, 1953 in Nashua, NH to his parents, Spiro Peter and Pauline (Steiger) Dedousis, both of whom are now deceased. He graduated from Nashua High School in 1972. He was married to his best friend Diana (Thomas) for the past 42 years. Peter resided most of his life in Nashua, NH, but moved to Milford, NH in 2011. After High School, he started his career at Demoulas Market Basket and then at Hannaford’s as a Manager of their meat department. Because he loved to drive, he later became a truck driver, working as a long-haul truck driver at Clark & Reid and most recently as a truck driver for CRST delivering for Ryerson. Peter was a loving and caring person who was willing to do anything to help anybody. For many years, he was the cub master for Troop 425. In his younger years, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed watching sports on TV and was especially devoted to the Patriots. He was looking forward to a 6th ring for Tom Brady. He enjoyed playing bingo and games on his phone. Anyone that knows him would say he loved telling stories. They would start out short, but then could go on for hours. The most important thing to him was his family. He loved spending time traveling with his wife, taking trips in his RV with his family, fishing with his son, and spending time with his grandchildren. Peter is survived by his wife Diana, his son Peter Dedousis Jr. of Milford, NH and his daughter and son-in-law Christina and Aaron Fitzgibbons of Nashua, NH; his three grandchildren Alexander Dedousis, Joshua Fitzgibbons, and Mikayla Fitzgibbons all of Nashua, NH; his two fur babies Reba and Kira; his four siblings and their spouses Joanne and Doyle Lobaugh of Cedar Hill, TX, Linda and Fernand Vachon of Nashua, NH, Paul Wesinger of Nashua, NH, and Nicholas and Barbara Dedousis of Nashua, NH. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were like family to him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the Nashua Soup Kitchen. PO Box 3116, Nashua NH 03061-3116 603-889-7770 www.nsks.org The family will celebrate his life at Zis-Sweeney & St. Laurent Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St, Nashua, NH on Friday February 2, 2018, with viewing hours from 3 PM–7 PM. A memorial service will be held Saturday February 3 at 10 AM. Attire is casual and NE Patriot apparel is welcomed. Friends and family are invited to the family home after the service.

Saunders Midwest

We here at Saunders in Maine wish to extend our deepest sympathies. Pete was our delivery driver for Ryerson material for years. He was always on top of what needed to be done and he was very good at his job. Our receiving dock personnel truly appreciated his driving abilities. We will miss seeing him each week.

I am so sorry for your loss. I too, work at Ryerson. Always a pleasure to see Pete, unfortunately didn't happen enough times as I wasn't always out in the warehouse when he returned from his run. But when I did see him, he was always quick with a HI! And a lot of times; some story about his day. He will be greatly missed.
