Robert V. Catanzano Sr.

Robert V. Catanzano, 73, of Nashua. NH passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, MA. He was born in Somerville, MA on April, 19, 1939, the son of the late George and Vivienne (Casey) Catanzano.

Robert has been a Nashua resident for over 54 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed playing chess, watching NASCAR, was an avid Boston sports fan, especially the Patriots, and loved spending time with his family.

He is predeceased by three brothers, Jerome Catanzano, George A. Catanzano and David C. Catanzano Sr.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Angela “Gloria” Catanzano; six sons, Robert Catanzano, Jr., George Catanzano, David Catanzano, Joey Catanzano, Anthony Catanzano and Christopher Catanzano; two daughters, Anne Marie Tuplin and Sheryl Ann Briskie; twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours were held on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 8AM to 10 AM at ZIS-SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 26, KINSLEY STREET, NASHUA, NH 03060. A Funeral Service was celebrated at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial followed at the NH State Veteran Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
