Robert was a resident of Alton, NH from 1952- 2012 when he moved to Hollis, NH. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, and he liked the weekend cruises and weekend tours. Robert was devoted to his wife and family, and he enjoyed traveling with his late wife of 69 years, Beth. He enjoyed boats and being out on the ocean, he loved going on adventures, and there was never a dirt road he didn’t go down. Robert was a gardener and had vegetable and flower gardens, he loved his dog Princess.

Robert is survived by his children, Kenneth Tilton and his wife Marion of Merrimack, Keith Tilton and his wife Hazel of Nottingham, NH, Don Tilton and his wife Diane of Laingsburg, MI, Jim Tilton and his fiancee Susie Guthrie of Stratham, NH, Daughter Donna Lindquist and her husband John of Hudson, NH, Joanne Tilton of Fort Myers, FL, and Leatha Anfuso and her husband Steven of Hooksett, NH. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson TJ Lindquist, brothers Howard Tilton and Arthur Tilton, and niece Shirley.
