Roger L. Poliquin, 90, a longtime Nashua resident passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 in St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, NH. He was born December 9, 1921 in Nashua, a son of the late George and Rose (Desmarias) Poliquin. A veteran of the U.S. Navy Mr. Poliquin proudly served his country in WWII during which he was involved in the D Day Invasion of Normandy.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years; Mary Poliquin, a son; Andrew Poliquin, a daughter; Julia McConnell, three grandchildren and his dog; Precious. He was predeceased by a daughter; Debbie Poliquin and also by his ten brothers and sisters.
Following cremation private family funeral services were held. The Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
