Sally Anne Almeda

She was born in Mexico, ME on May 18, 1932, the daughter of the late Willard and Beatrice (Watson) Earle.

Sally graduated from Stephens High School, Rumford, Maine and graduated first in her class at Rhode Island Junior College’s Dental Assistant School. Before working as a certified Dental Assistant, she worked for B.A. Ballou’s Jewelry Co. of RI and later as a baker’s assistant in Hudson, NH. She was an active member of the Air Force Sergeants Association Auxiliary, the Okinawan Airaku-En Leprosy Missions, Ryukyu Islands Council Girl Scouts, Sunday school teacher and the Daughters of Isabella.

Sally is survived by her son, Mark Almeda and his wife Susan of Walpole, MA, three daughters, Sheri Almeda of San Carlos, CA, Marianne Almeda of Wilmington, VT, and Lori S. Ireland and her husband Skip of Pawtucket, RI, and a sister, Roberta Wilkinson and her husband Jack of Fountain Hills, AR. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and three great--‐grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Lester Almeda, in 2013.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St. Nashua, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 9, at 9AM in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St. Nashua, NH. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, 71 Derry Road, Hudson, NH.
