

Simonne E. (Charron) Morissette, 72, of Hollis, NH formerly of Berlin, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Crestwood Nursing Home in Milford, NH. She was born on September 22, 1939 in Berlin, NH, the daughter of the late Romeo and Grace (St. Onge) Charron.
Mrs. Morissette was educated in the Berlin school system, graduating from Notre Dame High School. She was very crafty and enjoyed making beaded jewelry for friends and family, crocheting, and knitting. She was a member of Parish of the Resurrection in Nashua were she spent time as a volunteer. She stayed active during her stay at Crestwood were she loved playing “poker with the boys.” Simonne will best be remembered as a loving and caring wife and mother to her four daughters.
She is predeceased by her husband, Richard Morissette in 2002; a daughter, Kimberly Morissette and a brother, Romeo Charron, Jr.
Simonne is survived by three daughters, Tina Durham and her husband George of Milford, NH, Michelle Demont and her husband Donald of Lowell, MA and Brenda Morissette of Wakefield, MA; five grandchildren, Melissa, Dyanna and Rebecca Durham and Cody and Miranda Demont; six brothers, Raymond Charron, Larry Charron, Marc Charron, Paul Charron, and Roger Charron all of Berlin, NH and Maurice Charron of Hudson, NH; two sisters, Jeannette Valliere of Berlin and Anne Merrow of Nashua, NH; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling Hours were held Friday, March 30, 2012 from 6 PM to 8 PM and Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 9:30 AM until the start of Mass at ST. LAURENT FUNERAL HOME, 116 ELM STREET, NASHUA, NH 03060. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11 AM at Parish of the Resurrection in Nashua. Burial followed at St. Louis Cemetery in Nashua, NH.
