Stella Rotkiewicz

Stella B. Rotkiewicz, 93, a lifelong resident of Nashua, NH passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. She was born in Nashua, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helena (Worsocka) Rotkiewicz.

Stella attended Nashua schools and went to work at various places around Nashua. She worked for the Nashua Manufacturing Company, Sanders and later the Nashua Corporation where she retired from in 1981. Stella also was a communicant of St. Casimir’s Church in Nashua. She was a strong woman who was helpful and always there for you when you needed her. She enjoyed tending to her garden and plants.

She is survived by her daughter; Marguerite Lopes and her husband Arthur of Hudson, NH, two grandchildren; Christina Nadeau and her husband William of Hudson and Anne-Marie King of Holly Springs, North Carolina, by three great-grandchildren; Bradford Nadeau, Mahaleigh-Anne King and Jessalynn C. King. She is also survived by two brothers; Joseph Rock of Hollis, NH and Daniel Rotkiewicz of Nashua, by two sisters; Wanda Sankiewicz of Santa Monica, CA and Jessica Carroll of Franklin, WI and also by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three sisters; Sophia Lebiecki, MaryAnn Susi and Stephanie Urban.

A funeral service was held 10:00am Thursday, June 20, 2013 in the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua. The family greeted friends and family on Thursday from 9:30am until the 10:00am service in the funeral home. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
