

Manchester, NH – Susan “Sue” Mary (Petrocchi) Madej, lifetime resident of Manchester, NH, passed away at home on April 21, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born in Manchester on February 22, 1962, to her late parents Silvio and Kathleen (Walsh) Petrocchi, where she was also raised and educated. Sue worked for many years at Serv Pro in facilities management until her early retirement.
Sue was a selfless woman, who was known for her warmth and compassion, would help those who were less fortunate than herself. She would often champion and advocate for the elderly, which held a special place in her heart. In her youth, Sue enjoyed horseback riding and spending time at the stables with her dear friend Sherry. She would often take in rescue animals from the local shelters. She also enjoyed the quiet activities of life as well, from long walks to sharing company with family and friends. Especially her best friend Barbara. Sue found solace in her faith at the Monastery of the Precious Blood in Manchester. Sue touched many lives in many different circles and will fondly be remembered and loved by all.
As the beloved matriarch of her family, Sue is survived by her husband Walter F. Madej Sr., and their daughter, Brittany Labrun and her husband Ryan, and she was the cherished grandmother to Kennedy Labrun, all of Manchester. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Petrocchi, also of Manchester and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Sylvia Petrocchi.
