Veronica Sophie Dombrowski

Veronica S. Dombrowski, 95,a life-long resident of Nashua, NH passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua. She was born January 17, 1919 in Nashua, daughter of the late Frank J. and Sophie Rose (Verkauskas) Dombrowski.

Miss Dombrowski worked in the Nashua Mill, Lake St. Shoe Shop and Horton and Hubbard Company of Nashua, NH for most of her working life. She was a member of the former St. Casimir Parish and a current member of St. Christopher Church, Nashua. She enjoyed cooking and working out in the garden with her brother.

She is survived by her brother; Charles “Charlie” Dombrowski of Nashua, two nephews, Paul and Steven Dombrowski and also by several great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; Stanley and Frank Dombrowski.

Visiting hours were held Monday, March 24, 2014 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM in the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00AM Tuesday in St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester St., Nashua. Interment followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ledge Rd., Hudson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Sisters of Mercy, 37 Searles Rd., Windham, NH 03087.
