

Born on October 8, 1911 in Cambridge, MA, he was the son of Walter and Valerie (Wolenty) Remeis. He was brought up in Cambridge MA and spent many years living in Pelham, Hudson, and Nashua, NH. Upon retirement he and his wife relocated to Largo Florida where they enjoyed life for 25 years.
Walter worked as a machinist for many years at Johns Manville and JF McElwain in Nashua NH. He was an accomplished craftsman and particularly enjoyed woodworking and working with stained glass. He loved music and dancing. He played the violin and the accordion. He also enjoyed playing cards, and spending time with his family.
Walter was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Anne Casper Remeis. He is survived by his son Walter P. Remeis and his wife Ginny of Pelham NH and his daughter Valerie Boyd and her husband James of Hudson, MA.; six grandchildren, Deborah Boisvert and her husband David of Hudson MA, Patricia Cariveau and her husband Steven of Hudson MA, James Boyd of Stow, MA, Suzanne Bistany and her husband George of Hudson NH, Christine Kelsey and her husband David of Tamworth, NH, and Peter Remeis and his wife Kristie of Pelham NH; and 13 great grandchildren.
There were no calling hours. Services were private.
