

Alan John Pockevich, 75, the loving husband of Connie Pockevich, Nashville, IN. passed away December 20, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital, Greenwood. He was born November 4, 1936 in Chicago, IL., son of John A. & Della (Greensavage) Pockevich. They preceded him in death. He was the former facility director at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Chicago. He loved the Chicago Cubs & Bears. He was a volunteer with Brown County Habitat for Humanity. Alan also loved collecting antiques.
Survivors include his wife, Connie (Semrau) Pockevich, Nashville, daughter, Denise Scofield (the late son in law Greg Scofield) , Frankfort, IN., son, David (Alisa) Pockevich, Palmer, Alaska, grandsons, Brian Scofield, Indianapolis, Michael Scofield, Casper, WY., sisters & brothers in law, Hugh & Georgianne McNulty, FL., Janet & Harold Hurwitz, FL., beloved uncle of, Hugh McNulty, Jr., the late Annette McNulty, & Lonny & Angie Hurwitz.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, December 27 at 11:00 A.M. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, Nashville, with entombment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Verne Sindlinger will officiate. The family will receive visitors on Monday, December 26 from 3:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
