Ali was born to the late Robert and Margaret Luckie on February 17, 1955, in Arlington County, VA. She spent much of her life traveling around the world as a child of the Army. Ali graduated from high school in California. She then moved to Georgia, Maine, and Indiana.
Ali is survived by her two daughters, Jessica (Larry) and Amanda (Joshua). She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Ali was loved by all who walked with her in life. She had a vibrant personality and never met someone with whom she couldn't strike up a conversation. She was an exceptional cook, was highly skilled with crochet needles and a sewing machine, and loved bargain shopping. She also loved completing all sorts of word puzzles. Ali also loved her black cat, Raven. She always remarked that she was a million dollar cherub.
Her family will be having a Celebration of Life Ceremony in the Spring of 2023. Per Ali's wishes, there will be no viewing or burial. Ali's ashes will be scattered at a future date. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
