

Florida to the late Ferdinand and Viola(Hermson)Keller on December 23, 1934. Carole married J. Ronald Rettig in 1955 in the Little Flower Catholic Church in Indianapolis. She was a secretary for the FBI for many years. Carole loved the outdoors, living in the country, working crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Nashville for 20 years and volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul. Carole is survived by six of her seven boys: J. Michael(wife Cheryl)Rettig, James Rettig, Stephen Rettig, Chris(wife Deborah)Rettig, Dan(wife Wilma)Rettig and Gary(wife Connie)Rettig.
She is a also survived by 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild and two sisters: Jeanne and Patricia and two brothers: John and Walter.Carole was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years: J. Ronald Rettig, her son Paul Rettig and two brothers: Bud and Bob.
Visitation for Carole will be held in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Rd. 135 North, Nashville, Indiana 47448 from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1008 McLary Rd., Nashville, IN on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis.
