

Charlotte Wolfe, age 69, of Nashville, died Wednesday morning at the Brown County Health and Living Center. She was born August 4, 1942 to Fred and Vertie (Dyer) Braden. She was a homemaker but had previously worked for 25 years as a columnist and for 2 years as an editor for the Middlebury Independent News in Middlebury, Indiana. She graduated from Michigan State University where she received a bachelor of education degree. She was an accomplished wood carver and paint artist. She was a great gardener and small farmer where she had a milk cow and raised chickens and ducks.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Bethany and Rich Drew of Nashville; her son and daughter-in-law, John Allen and Tabby Howell, of Hersey, Michigan and four grandchildren; Madalyn Drew, Allison Drew, Josiah Drew and Olivia Howell. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville with Pastor Earl Piper officiating. Burial will follow in Unionville Cemetery in Monroe County. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
