David Anthony Nardi

David Anthony Nardi, age 35 years, formerly of Spencer and Bloomington, Indiana passed from this life on the morning of July 26, 2026. David was born on September 19, 1990 in Bloomington, Indiana to Barbara (Bobbi) Ann Nardi, and Frank Mattioda Nardi. He graduated from Spencer-Owen Community High School and received an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. David was employed as a chef at various restaurants in Bloomington and Indianapolis, Indiana, and was known for his culinary creations. David also loved skateboarding and soccer and enjoyed his many friends. He had a dynamic personality and lit up the room wherever he chose to mingle. He was deeply loved by this family and will be missed.

David is survived by his close friend and companion, Brittany Shook, for whom the family is very grateful for her unselfish care of David; his dog, Nala; mother Barbara (Bobbi) Ann Nardi; parents, Frank M. Nardi and Brenda Kadic Nardi; brothers, Adam David Nardi and Frank Joseph Nardi (wife, Maggie Nardi); nephew, Soloman Nardi; Aunts Becki Bundy, Lesa Thomas, and Clarine Nardi Riddle; Uncles Jeffrey Bundy and Laurence C. Rossi, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Barbara Ann Bundy, Alice B. Nardi, Frank "Jake" Nardi, and Aunt Geraldine Ann Rossi.
