Dorothy Elizabeth Spiker Seitz

Dorothy Elizabeth Seitz, age 91, of Nashville, died Friday morning at the Brown County Health and Living Community. Born August 16, 1919 in Columbus, Indiana, she was the daughter of Alonzo E. and Myrtle (Whitehead) Spiker. She was a loving homemaker and mother and a member of the Nashville Christian Church.

She is survived by her daughters; Janet S. Perkins, of Madison, Indiana and Debra J. Earle, of Columbus, Indiana; three granddaughters, Audra Descalzi, of Tampa, Florida, Leslie Pell, of Noblesville, Indiana and Gwen Earle, of Orlando, Florida; four great-grandchildren, Sophia Descalzi, Elizabeth Descalzi, Sydney Clapp, and Samuel Pell. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ivan E. Seitz in 1993, three brothers, Harry Spiker, Lonnie Spiker and Charles Spiker and two sisters, Dolly Baker and Florence Baker.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M.at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Rick Clayton officiating. Burial will be private on Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M.
